Alan Franco is a Premier League star who has recently made the move to play for Brazilian club Flamengo. The Englishman, who previously played for West Ham United and Burnley, has been with Flamengo since January 2019.
Franco, who was born in London but grew up in Spain, began his career at Real Madrid before moving to England where he spent five years with West Ham United. He then joined Burnley in 2017 and made an immediate impact, scoring 15 goals in 44 appearances during the 2018-19 season.
However, Franco's time at Burnley did not last long as he struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League and was eventually sold to Fulham in August 2019. Despite being released by Fulham, Franco continued to impress with Flamengo, scoring 16 goals in just 22 games during the 2019-20 season.
Despite his success in Brazil, Franco has always expressed an interest in returning to England and now appears set to do so after signing a contract with Flamengo until 2022. He will be hoping to continue his impressive form under new coach Jorge Jesus and help lead Flamengo to glory on the international stage.
