Ansu Fati, the Italian footballer who has been on loan at Spanish club FC Barcelona for the past year, is set to return to the La Liga giants. The 22-year-old forward, who made his debut for Italy in 2015, will join the Catalans as a replacement for fellow starlet Luka Modric.

The move comes after the 6th player to sign with the club was ruled out of action due to a knee injury sustained in training earlier this month. Fati's return will provide much-needed experience and stability for coach Ronald Koeman, who has been without a consistent starting striker since the arrival of Modric last summer.

Fati's return also follows the departure of fellow Italian forward Alessandro Del Piero, who had signed for Real Madrid in January. Del Piero's absence meant that Fati would have had to step up to fill the void left by the former Milan player. However, Fati's recent performances for the Serie A side have been impressive, scoring five goals in nine matches so far this season.

It remains to be seen whether Fati will make a significant impact on the team, but it is clear that he will bring a new dimension to Barcelona's attack. With their squad currently stacked with talented players, including Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and Luis Suarez, there is no reason why Fati should not prove to be a valuable addition to the club's ranks.
